Reconnect

COMPLETE THE REFERRAL FORM HERE.

The augmented Reconnect Program, delivered by Ladder is a partnership between Department of Education and Training and Gippsland Employment Skills Training Inc.

This augmented program focuses on young people aged 17-25, providing a wrap-around holistic service to address barriers in education and employment. The program aims to assist young people to build resilience and capacities required to successfully transition into employment, education, and or training in a sustainable and rewarding way.

Young people will work alongside their Ladder Development Coach to design an individualised program and game plan to assist them in identifying their goals in life and employment, education and or training, and the next steps needed to get there.

This will be achieved through 1:1 support, group mentoring, industry tours, work experience, recreational activities, and guest speakers in specialised industries.

Eligibility

  • Young people aged 17-25 who have been disengaged from education, employment or training for 6 months or more (disengaged is defined as studying or working less than 8 hours per week)
