Surviving Adolescence COMPLETE THE REFERRAL/ENQUIRY FORM HERE With the support of the Latrobe Health Assembly, Ladder completed a feasibility study focused on an extension of the Step Up Latrobe Valley program. This was to implement a parenting program that would support and assist parents and allow them to better help enhance their child’s outcomes from engaging in the Step Up Latrobe Valley program. Surviving Adolescence is a parenting program with a difference. This pilot program is facilitated in a supportive environment for 6-8 parents per program and runs for two hours once a week, for seven weeks. The sessions delivered encourage parents to bring about positive change to the family and offer practical strategies to help strengthen and maintain a supportive relationship with their adolescents.
