Christopher - Acting CEO

Chris brings more than 25 years of experience across the not-for-profit, corporate and government sectors, with a strong track record in organisational growth, transformation and people-centred leadership. 

A former CEO and Board Chair, Chris has led complex organisations through periods of change and worked at the grassroots to create lasting social impact. His expertise spans governance, strategy and fundraising, underpinned by deep experience across the not-for-profit sector. He holds degrees in Psychology, Communications and Political Science, bringing a strong blend of strategic insight and relationship-centred leadership to his work.

Chris joined Ladder in August 2025 to provide senior operational leadership, working closely with our Board, staff and key stakeholders to strengthen strategic alignment, organisational capability and long-term sustainability in support of Ladder’s youth-centred mission. He has now stepped into the Acting Chief Executive Officer role while Ladder’s CEO, Stephanie de Campo, is on parental leave. 

Grounded by family and community, Chris enjoys staying active, exploring the outdoors, and supporting his son’s creative and sporting pursuits, which keep him curious, balanced, and deeply connected to what matters most.
