Tara - General Manager

Tara has more than two decades of experience working with young people and communities, bringing deep expertise in program development, service delivery, and building partnerships that create meaningful opportunities for young people facing disadvantage.

Prior to joining Ladder, Tara held a General Manager position where she oversaw operational delivery and the organisation’s philanthropic foundation. Through this role she developed strong capabilities in organisational leadership, strategic partnerships, and delivering initiatives that combined community impact with broader organisational objectives.

Across her career, Tara has worked extensively with young people and families navigating complex challenges, including out-of-home care, leaving care, youth justice, and early intervention programs. She is deeply committed to strengthening protective factors that enable young people to build confidence, capability and pathways for the future.

Tara joined Ladder in 2020 as Victorian Program Manager and progressed to National Program Manager in 2021. In January 2026, she was appointed General Manager. In this role, Tara leads Ladder’s national programs, partnerships and strategic initiatives, working alongside government, corporate and community partners to drive lasting outcomes for young people.
