Nerrelle - Head of Programs and Child Safety

Nerrelle joined the Ladder team in 2022 and brings over 20 years experience working across the Victorian youth and community services sector. She has a strong background in residential care and leaving care programs, early intervention supports for families and young people and has also managed a disability support program delivering NDIS funded services across a broad range of age groups.

Throughout her career, Nerrelle as worked alongside young people and families across out of home care, youth justice, family violence as well as state and federally funded early intervention programs. Nerrelle is passionate about supporting young people to build confidence, strengthen independence, and work towards meaningful personal and career goals.

In 2018 Nerrelle was recognised for her leadership and dedication to best practice, receiving the Excellence and Innovation in Residential Care Leadership Award from the Centre for Excellence in Child and Family Welfare Inc. 

Nerrelle is driven to support her team to create safe, inclusive and empowering spaces where young people can show up as their authentic selves and be supported to build on their strengths and achieve their goals.
